independent laboratory (InterCity Testing and Consulting) and found to meet and exceed the American Society for
Testing and Materials F1346-91 specifications. Our

has passed the established performance tests with
flying colors and meets the ASTM requirements for safety covers for swimming
pools, spas, hot tubs, and wading pools. When correctly installed and used
in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, this specification is
intended to reduce the risk of drowning by inhibiting the access of children
under five years of age to the water.
Many companies claim their pool covers meet this
specification, but many have never been tested and few can prove it. This
certification is not cheap, takes time, and it is not readily handed out.
