Air Inflated Commercial Domes ranging in size from 3000 to 7000 square feet are designed and built to withstand the heavy wear & tear associated with use by the general public. They are manufactured from "scrim" reinforced vinyl. This is a 2 layer laminated vinyl that is embedded with a nylon reinforcement webbing. Due to the increased expense of this specific fabric, the price-per-square-foot is somewhat higher than the residential units under 3000 square foot in size. These Heavy Duty Commercial fabrics are available in many different colors. We offer 4 standard colors at one pricing structure and add 10% onto the price of your dome should a "designer" color be your desire. The walls of commercial domes are not available in the clear vinyl material. You can get a free price quote by using our dome contact form or by calling the toll free # posted below. The blowers for these domes are designed to run continuously and they're not only quiet, they're very economical to run. You can count on using 1 blower per each 1800-2000 feet² of dome. These blowers have a speed adjustment so you can set and maintain the proper inflation pressure within the pool dome. Also, if you're planning on using your dome in a colder climate, our Dome Heaters keep the dome at a comfortable temperature and help to safely keep the humidity level at acceptable levels. Occasionally, local ordinances will require that these "light commercial" units will require the use of an airlock or a revolving door to accommodate a wheelchair (ADA). Also, some states require extra tall walls and/or fabric which has a state fire marshal "fire retardant" rating. We can provide all of these features for you. A common question asked of us on domes in this size range is how tall the finished product will be in the center of the dome. The answer lies in the final dimensions of the dome itself. The larger the dome, the taller it will be. With all wall heights being constant on every dome, the larger area it covers dictates the final ceiling height in the center. As a reference example, a dome measuring 40' x 100' (4000 sq. ft.) will have an approximate final height of 14'-5" in the very center. Also, due to the large amount of material involved, on a warm day the dome may "grow" 6 inches taller or so. On a cold day, it may "shrink" 6 inches or so.
