How To Set Your A-B Line

After you define the shape of your pool cover or pool dome, place your A and B reference points exactly 20 feet apart and about 3 feet away from the long side of the shape you are measuring.

For most layouts, the easiest setup is to keep the A-B line parallel to the long axis of the pool. That gives you cleaner point measurements and makes the plotted shape easier to verify on the chart.
