"Bimini-Butler" Height Adjuster

A practical answer to the most common bimini top question: How tall should my bimini top be?

The #1 bimini top question

Ameri-Brand Products Inc. has sold thousands and thousands of bimini tops on the Internet since 1998. The most common and most challenging part of ordering a bimini top is deciding how tall it should be.

The basic answer is low enough to let the boat perform well and provide good shade, but still tall enough to walk under when you are at rest. Finding that compromise is not always easy.

The answer, problem, and solution

Many customers want the best of both worlds: a lower, more practical operating height while underway, and extra headroom when the boat is stopped. That is why the Bimini-Butler was designed.

The Bimini-Butler extends the height of your top up to a full 17" above the normal operating height of your bimini top. Cruise with the top in the operating position, then raise it when you stop to rest, fish, swim, or need more room under the shade.

Simple height changes

When you are cruising around the lake, water skiing, or otherwise underway, keep the bimini in the down position. When it is time to stop, extend the top up for more headroom.

Raising or lowering the top only takes about a minute. It is a simple way to avoid getting stuck with a bimini that is either too tall for normal use or too short when you want to stand under it.
