Made-to-order vinyl liners for water tanks and cisterns, including potable vinyl for drinking water, hydroponics, and aquaculture.
A liner can give a structurally sound tank a new water-holding surface, so leaks, rust, or interior buildup do not always mean replacing the tank. Round and rectangular liners can be priced online; custom shapes start with a drawing and measurements.
A structurally sound masonry, metal, or wood tank or cistern may be a candidate for a liner, even when leaks or internal corrosion keep it from holding water. Rather than replace the entire tank, a liner can restore it to service while preserving the existing structure.
Each liner is made to your tank’s dimensions. Round and rectangular liners can be priced online. For any other shape, send a drawing with complete dimensions for review and pricing. Install it yourself or hire a professional, and help by phone is always available.
Potable liners serve fish ponds, hydroponic gardens, aquaculture, and other water-based agriculture. They work for backyard setups and commercial projects alike. Each liner is made to the project’s dimensions, including any fittings or pipe openings it needs to accommodate.
Tank liners are available in potable vinyl or standard pool-liner vinyl, depending on the application. Use potable vinyl for drinking water, ponds, hydroponics, aquaculture, or anywhere people or animals may ingest or have prolonged contact with the water. Standard pool vinyl contains time-release antibacterial and anti-fungal agents that help keep swimming pools clean, so it is not suitable for those uses.
Before getting a price, note your tank’s shape and size, how the liner will attach at the top, and where any pipes pass through. The guides below show what to look for. If you have questions, help by phone is always available.
Measure Your Tank
Round tanks need diameter and height; rectangular tanks need length, width, and height. The dimensions determine how much vinyl the liner uses, so accurate measurements matter.
Overlap liners typically need 6 to 12 inches of extra wall height so the top edge can fold over the rim. Beaded liners lock into a track mounted inside the top of the tank.
A witch's-hat sleeve fits around an existing pipe or fixture that protrudes into the tank. A bulkhead fitting creates a gasket-sealed opening for a new inlet, outlet, or drain.
