A Fabrico spa enclosure gives you shelter from rain and cool breezes while keeping insects out. Its clear vinyl cover surrounds the spa and seating area so you can enjoy your hot tub during cooler weather. Plan the enclosure size around both the spa and the space you need to enter, move around, and ventilate it.
Cover, Frame & Door
Like an Ameri-Patio and Spa Enclosure, a Fabrico spa dome uses a clear cover over an aluminum frame. The 12-mil vinyl is electronically heat-sealed to fit the frame included with your kit. Each entry has a zipper on both sides of the door, heat-sealed to the cover. The zippers operate from inside and outside the enclosure.
Windows & Airflow
Every cover has ventilation windows with fiberglass screen panels to let air circulate while keeping insects out. Unzip both sides of a window, roll the vinyl flap up, and secure it with the supplied nylon-reinforced vinyl straps. The 9-foot and 12-foot enclosures have one screened window; the 15-foot enclosure has three.
Always allow plenty of ventilation when using a spa enclosure, especially over a spa or hot tub.
Cover Attachment
The bottom edge of the clear vinyl cover uses double-thickness, 24-gauge vinyl for added strength. Grommets run around the perimeter, and the included neoprene shock cords tension the cover against the mounting base.
Kit Contents & Wooden Base
The complete kit includes all enclosure parts except the 2×6 and 2×8 base lumber. Buy the lumber locally to avoid the cost of shipping it. We supply a materials list and complete instructions for building the wooden base. The frame, cover, and installation hardware come with your kit.
Open-Air Use & Storage
The spa dome adds a sheltered space around the hot tub you already own. Remove the cover for open-air use and summer storage. Keep the cover clean and dry before storing it, and maintain the ventilation described above whenever the enclosure is in use.
Vinyl or Screen?
Compare the cover materials, then select a complete kit or a replacement cover.
Clear Vinyl for a Longer Swim Season
Clear vinyl lets sunlight warm the water and holds warmth around the pool. Zippered doors and screened windows let you control ventilation. Remove the cover before snow or extremely heavy winds.
Screen domes combine a clear vinyl roof with mesh sides that let air circulate while keeping insects and leaves out. Screen covers are available in blue, black, and forest green. Each screen cover is made to your measurements and is not returnable.
Start with a complete kit when you need both the framework and the cover. Inground pools and spas require a separate wooden base, while soft-sided pools need mounting brackets matched to their top rails.
Replace just the cover when your existing Fabrico frame and brackets are in good condition. To identify the matching cover, we’ll need your original stock or model number, pool dimensions and details, and photos of the existing dome.
Record the brand, shape, and dimensions, then count the panels or uprights around the pool.
Soft-Sided Pools
Measure the pool and note the top-rail shape and mounting dimensions so the brackets match your frame.
Inground Pools & Spas
Measure the pool or spa and allow room for the wooden base, door access, and walking around the water.
Existing dome or unlisted pool? Send us your pool’s brand and dimensions, any dome model or stock number, and photos of the frame and mounting points. We use these details to identify the kit or replacement cover that fits.
Sun Dome Fit & Ordering Questions
Will a Sun Dome fit my pool?
The correct dome matches your pool’s shape, dimensions, construction, and mounting points. Select your pool type under Get Prices. If your model is not listed, send us its measurements and photos so we can match the mounting requirements.
Can I replace just the cover?
Yes. We sell replacement vinyl and screen covers for existing Fabrico frames. Match the original model and dimensions, and inspect the frame before ordering. Pool size alone does not identify the correct replacement cover.
What must I supply for an inground pool or spa?
These enclosures require a wooden base that is not included. Use the model-specific installation manual and base dimensions to plan the materials and placement.
