Measuring and Counting the Panels

To Get it PERFECT!!!

Metal Wall Domes  /  Soft Side Domes

To get prices and find the correct fabrico dome, you need to know a few details about your pool or spa. The following instructions can help you find the measurements and other specifications required for your Above-Ground Pool, Soft-Side Pool, Inground Pool, or Spa & Hot Tub.

Above-Ground Pool Measurements

(Simply Count the Panels around the Entire Pool)

Traditional metal-walled pools are divided into panels by their support uprights. The number of panels is important because it is equal to number of aluminum supports which hold up each dome. Without a correct count, your new dome will have too many or too few supports, neither of which is advantageous. If counting panels is difficult for you, try counting the upright since the number will be the same.

#Uprights  =  #Panels  =  #Sundome Supports

Soft Sided Pool Measurements

Not all soft-sided pools are not divided up into panels like traditional above-ground pools. First, rectangular soft-side pools do not require a count of panels or uprights; their fit is based solely on length and width measurements. Round or Oval soft-side pools require both a panel/upright count and diameter (circles) or length & width (ovals). If counting panels is difficult for you, try counting the upright since the number will be the same.

Inground Pool Measurements

Inground Sun Domes require width and length measurements. It's usually a good idea to get a dome large enough to allow walking room around the sides of the pool. Failing to preserve enough space on the pool deck can make movement inside the pool dome difficult and even dangerous in the event of an emergency. Always remember to select a dome size greater than or equal to the size of your pool. Undersizing the dome will result in incomplete pool coverage and a very trickly, custom installation.

With Spa Domes, It's usually a good idea to get a dome large enough to have a little extra space around the sides of the spa. This allows for better mobility and ventillation. Simply measure your spa and then compare to the available sizes.
