Tank Liner FAQ

Answers about tank measurements, liner attachments, custom shapes, fittings, installation, and pricing.

Should I measure the inside or outside of my tank?

Measure the inside dimensions in feet and inches. For a rectangular tank, record inside length, width, and wall height; for a round tank, record inside diameter and wall height. Include the allowance required by the attachment you select. See tank measuring.

How is the liner attached at the top?

The two attachment types are a beaded liner locked into a track and an overlap liner secured over the tank rim. Review the diagrams and fastening guidance in liner attachment options.

Can you make a liner for an unusual tank shape?

For a custom shape, send a rough drawing with complete measurements. The custom tank measuring guidance explains what to provide so we can discuss the liner and prepare a price.

How are inlets, outlets, and drains handled?

The fittings guide compares sleeves for existing pipes with bulkhead fittings for new openings. Review the installation instructions for the selected fitting before cutting or attaching the liner.

Are there instructions for my tank material?

We provide separate guides for wooden tanks, concrete tanks, and metal tanks. Start with the general installation guidance.

Where can I get a price and read the warranty?

Use tank liner pricing with your measurements, attachment, and fittings. Online quotes are for potable white vinyl; contact us about other material requirements. The Tank Liner warranty explains coverage, installation conditions, exclusions, and freight terms.
