Fabrico Sun Dome FAQ

We sell enclosures for metal- and resin-walled above-ground pools, soft-sided pools, inground pools, and spas and hot tubs. Each application has its own mounting requirements. Match the enclosure to your pool’s shape, dimensions, and mounting points.

A complete kit includes the frame, cover, and dome hardware. A replacement cover reuses a matching Fabrico frame and includes the cover and its fastening cords. Inspect the existing frame and brackets before ordering. Compare the kit and replacement-cover contents.

For above-ground pools, record the shape, size, brand, and panel or upright count. Soft-sided pools also need top-rail measurements. For inground pools and spas, plan the enclosure footprint, wooden base, doorway, and clearance around the water. Our measuring guide covers each application.

Send your pool’s brand, dimensions, and photos of the top rail and mounting points. For an existing dome, include any stock or model number and frame photos. Send your pool details so we can identify the matching enclosure or replacement cover.

Clear vinyl covers retain warmth and shelter the pool from debris. Zippered doors and screened windows provide ventilation. Screen covers combine a clear vinyl roof with mesh sides that let air circulate while keeping insects and leaves out.

Screen covers are available in blue, black, and forest green. Each cover is made to your pool measurements and is not returnable. Review the screen cover options and confirm your measurements before ordering.

Vinyl and screen replacement covers are available for matching Fabrico frames. Some customers switch to screen for summer airflow and vinyl for cooler months. Match your original dome model and measurements when selecting either replacement cover.

Inspect the tubing and brackets for corrosion, deposits, and burrs that could damage a new cover. Remove rough spots; if light sanding does not resolve them, send us photos of the affected parts. Our frame-inspection guide explains what to check before ordering.

Inground pool and spa enclosures require a separate wooden base; the lumber is not included in the kit. Follow your model’s base dimensions and lumber requirements before building. Above-ground and soft-sided enclosures mount to the pool with the appropriate hardware. Review the installation manuals and base plans.

Sun Domes extend the swimming season but are not designed to support snow loads or withstand extremely heavy winds. Remove the cover for winter storage and follow the seasonal-use and weather guidance. Always provide ventilation, especially over a spa or hot tub.
