Fabrico Sun Domes: Weather & Seasonal Care

Sun Domes extend the swimming season but are not designed for snow loads. Plan seasonal removal and review the weather limits before leaving your dome installed.

Plan for Seasonal Removal

Fabrico Sun Domes are meant to extend your swim season. It is strongly recommended that you remove your Sun Dome during stormy winter months, as the domes are not designed for snow load. Such unnecessary stress may cause the dome to fail prematurely and is NOT COVERED under the sundome warranty.

Please Note: Leaving your dome up year round will shorten the dome's life span and may result in damage to persons or property.

Past Installation & Weather Limits

However, some Fabrico pool enclosures have been known to stand up to very severe conditions and still survive. One reported installation was an inground Sun Dome in Paradise, California which receives +110°F temperatures in the summer time and reaches freezing temperatures during the winter.

This installation record is not a snow-load rating. Review the weather exclusions in the Fabrico warranty.
