Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers about room planning, pricing, equipment, installation and owning a Swim Spa Room.

Covered swim spa inside the enclosure with the snowy yard visible through the clear vinyl walls

Start with your enclosure size and mounting surface, then review weather guidance, installation and storage. For your own project, confirm local requirements and discuss your site with us before ordering.

Your Room and Site

Are Larger Sizes Available?

Yes. Each room is made to order, and custom sizes are available for larger or smaller spaces. Use the 16 ft. × 24 ft. package as a price reference while planning the room around your swim spa or Endless Pool.

Send the spa’s outside dimensions and full area you want covered, including walkway space. Mention your preferred entrance, nearby structures or changes in level, and include photos if available. See the ordering checklist.

How Do I Plan the Space Around My Spa?

Send your spa’s outside length, width and height, along with the full area you want covered. Include the walking space and seating you want, room to open the spa cover, and your preferred airlock entrance location.

Mention steps, slopes, railings, nearby structures and any equipment that needs service access. Site photos or a sketch help us review the layout with you before the room is made. See the ordering checklist and room options.

What Surface Can I Mount the Room To?

The enclosure can be mounted to concrete or wood. The mounting surface and anchoring are part of planning the installation. If wood is used, steps must be taken to avoid air loss, so describe your proposed deck or surface when discussing the room.

A rotary hammer or hammer drill is required for installing anchors in concrete. Follow the instructions supplied with your enclosure for anchor locations, drilling dimensions and hardware. The enclosure must remain anchored according to those instructions while it is in place.

Is the Vinyl Really Clear?

Yes. The clear vinyl is nearly as clear as a pane of glass, allowing you to enjoy the outside view while inside the enclosure. Air supports the room around your swim spa, and a separate, lockable double-zippered airlock provides entry and exit without excessive air loss.

Our project photographs show the clear walls from inside and outside, the airlock entrance and the same installation in different seasons. They can help you picture how the enclosure surrounds the pool and patio.

Pricing, Equipment and Shipping

How Much Does a Swim Spa Room Cost?

The 16 ft. × 24 ft. enclosure package is $5,577.28, plus shipping. Use that size as a starting point for your budget. Larger and smaller rooms are available by custom quote, based on the dimensions and equipment you select. See package pricing and custom sizes.

What Is Included with the Room?

The package includes the made-to-order enclosure, air-handling system, complete anchoring kit, zippered double-door airlock and assembly instructions. The heater/dehumidifier is optional. Review the package and equipment details when planning your quote.

Is a Heater Included?

The Ameri-Dome Heater / Dehumidifier is optional and adds $955.00 to the package price. Combined with this equipment, the room is intended for year-round use. Discuss your climate and planned season of use with us when selecting the enclosure and heating equipment.

Is Shipping Included in the Price?

Package prices are listed plus shipping. Freight is quoted for your enclosure size, selected equipment and destination. Send the delivery address and ZIP code, whether it is a home or business, and any gates, narrow drives or other access restrictions. See shipping and delivery details.

Weather and Local Requirements

How Much Wind Can This Room Handle?

The published wind guidance is up to 50 MPH with unprotected exposure. Proper anchoring is a condition of use: the enclosure must remain anchored according to the supplied installation instructions for as long as it is in place.

Tell us about your location, mounting surface and exposure when planning the room. Also review the limited warranty, which excludes windstorm damage. The wind guidance and warranty coverage are separate considerations when deciding whether the enclosure suits your site.

Will This Room Handle a Snow Load?

The published snow-load guidance is up to 30 pounds when the spa is heated and its cover is open. Both conditions apply to that guidance. Include your planned winter use and site conditions when reviewing the enclosure and heating with us.

An Ameri-Dome Heater / Dehumidifier is available for use with the enclosure. Discuss your climate, spa heating and intended season of use when planning the room and equipment. Follow the operating instructions supplied for your enclosure and equipment.

Are Permits Needed for a Spa Room?

Confirm the requirements for your location and planned installation with your local building authority before ordering. Describe the proposed enclosure as a removable, air-supported room, and provide its intended dimensions and mounting surface.

Request product and installation details for your discussion with the building authority. Permit requirements must be confirmed locally for your particular project.

Installation and Ownership

How Long Does Installation Take?

Swim Spa Rooms are designed for owner installation and are usually installed in 6 to 8 hours. A complete, detailed set of assembly instructions is supplied with each unit. Plan your mounting surface, anchoring layout and tools before starting.

The main work involves marking the perimeter and anchor locations, installing the anchoring kit, carefully positioning and securing the vinyl, and setting up the double-door airlock and supplied blower and pressure regulator. A rotary hammer or hammer drill is required for concrete anchors and can be rented. Use your room’s supplied instructions for the exact installation details.

How Long Does Delivery Take?

Estimated production is 5–6 weeks, with carrier transit additional. Rooms are made to order in Oroville, California, by the same manufacturer as our residential pool domes. Review the production schedule and confirm timing for your room and destination before planning installation.

Have your enclosure dimensions, color preferences, delivery ZIP code and preferred arrival date ready. The package price is listed plus shipping, and freight depends on the enclosure size and final destination. Confirm both the timing and freight cost as part of planning your delivery.

What Warranty Comes with the Room?

The enclosure has a three-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. The first year covers defects in workmanship, materials and separation within the welds; coverage in years two and three is prorated using the current retail price of the enclosure.

Supplied mechanical equipment has a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase, and zipper life is not covered. Read the full limited warranty for installation, equipment and storage conditions, exclusions and claim instructions.

How Do I Activate the Warranty?

Send Ameri-Brand photos showing the room properly installed. Your warranty is activated when Ameri-Brand validates the installation and provides written acknowledgment by email. Review the warranty conditions and after-installation guidance.

Can the Room Be Taken Down?

Yes. When the room is not in use, you can deflate it, remove it and store it in a small area. Inflation typically takes less than 15 minutes. Follow the supplied instructions when removing and reinstalling the enclosure.

Store the room clean and dry, out of direct heat. The warranty excludes discoloration from bacteria or algae that develops during storage, so refer to the supplied instructions for cleaning and storage care. Use the supplied blower and pressure regulator when the room is in service.
