How Vinyl Products Are “Welded”

All seams on the Ameri-Dome are vinyl welded to create a beautiful, strong bond between the different pieces of vinyl.

Vinyl Welding Process

The vinyl welding process is described below.

1. Arrange the Vinyl

Two pieces of vinyl are arranged to overlap each other under the “Bar”.

2. Apply Radio Frequency Waves

The bar is lowered in position, and electrical radio frequency waves are applied through the vinyl fabric for a pre-set length of time.

3. Complete the Seam

After the bar is raised, the perfect seam is complete!
