Keep Construction Projects Moving Through Bad Weather
Rain, sleet, snow, and cold temperatures can slow or stop construction work. Ameri-Brand construction domes are made to provide a temporary enclosed work area for construction tasks such as cement work, plastering, demolition, and renovation. They are designed to be put up and taken down as the job requires, and the enclosure may be heated when the heating equipment is kept a safe distance from the dome walls. Many contractors use Construction Ameri-Domes to help keep their crews working through the winter.

How a Construction Dome Is Set Up
Build the Airlock & Position the Dome
Build the airlock frame from your PVC pipe and fittings using the supplied guide, then secure it to your plywood base. Pull the Construction Dome over the work area and attach the airlock as directed.
Secure the Water Ballast
Fill the water-ballast bags and place them around the full perimeter. Lace rope through the grommets at the base of the dome to hold the ballast securely in position.
Inflate and Begin Work
Position the blowers where they work best for the site, connect the snorkel tubes, and turn on the fans. Wind or site conditions may require stakes or tie-offs to stationary objects.

- Heavy-duty reinforced 14 oz. fire-retardant vinyl Construction Dome
- Complete installation instructions
- 2 air-inflation blowers with snorkel tubes and buckle straps
- 1 quart of commercial-grade HH-66 adhesive and a vinyl repair kit
- Instructions for building and assembling the airlock frame
- 3 zippered door panels, including 1 spare
- 1 clear airlock frame cover
Materials You Supply
- 3/8-inch diameter poly rope for securing the water ballast
- One 4' × 8' × 1/2" piece of plywood for the airlock base
- 1-1/2-inch PVC pipe and fittings for the airlock frame
- Four 2-1/2-inch × 3/8-inch carriage bolts and nuts
- 2 wooden air chutes for the blower snorkel tubes
- Water-ballast bags, such as 3 mil 42-gallon contractor clean-up bags
- 100 plastic zip ties, 10 to 12 inches long
You build the airlock frame using our instructions. Supply the PVC pipe, fittings, and plywood base listed above; the door panels and clear frame cover are included in the kit.

How do I select a size for use across multiple projects?
Select a size for the range of work areas your business needs to cover, with room for your crew, equipment, and entry. Consider the working height your jobs require as well as the length and width.
For height-sensitive work or taller equipment, call 800-982-6966 to confirm the construction dome’s interior clearance before selecting a size.
What do I need at the job site?
You build the airlock frame using the supplied assembly instructions. The kit includes the door panels, clear frame cover, and two inflation blowers. You supply the PVC pipe and fittings, plywood base, water ballast, and other materials listed above. Tell us what electrical power is available so we can confirm blower requirements for your setup. Review the construction dome installation instructions before planning installation.
